The Celebrity Flower Man
Michael Bloomberg and Alicia Keys Both Swear By This Glamorous Force
By Holly Moore //
Celebrated event designer DeJuan Stroud grew up in Alabama and developed a deep love for flowers, especially flowers brought into the home, from his grandmother and her garden. Based in New York, and designing entertaining venues and parties for clients Jon Bon Jovi (he and wife Dorothea wrote the foreword to this book), Michael Bloomberg and Alicia Keys, Stroud gathered lush photographs of garden parties, brunches, holiday celebrations and more, into a book, Designing Life’s Celebrations (Rizzoli).
Stroud demystifies the art of the tabletop and home entertaining, applying principals from his large-scale events to glamorous at-home luncheons and dinner parties. Stroud will be at Back Row Home on Wednesday, April 13, at 5:30 pm, with a 6 pm talk followed by cocktails and book signing.
