New 27-Story High-Rise Brings Luxury Living to New Heights in Plano

North Texas' Shopping Mecca's Become a Draw for a More Sophisticated Tower

Windrose Tower, a new 27-story luxury condominium, is shaking up Plano and one of Texas’ most hyped shopping meccas. It overlooks 400,000 square feet of high-end stores, entertainment and restaurants as the only residential high-rise at Legacy West.

A 30 minute drive or so (depending on traffic) from downtown Dallas, Windrose Tower is in its own walkable world. Plano is growing exponentially since the development on Legacy West. It’s become a vital North Texas city — and a major draw in its own right.

Windrose Tower will only have 99 units in its 27 stories. Currently the building is 65 percent pre-sold — and the showcase 27th floor penthouse is already taken. All of Windrose’s one-bedroom condos have been sold. There are still two, three, and four-bedrooms available.

The tower was designed by GDA Architects and will reach more than 300 feet tall with an architectural style that’s a mix of contemporary and classic. There are 12 different floor plans ranging from 1,850 square feet to 11,000 square feet. Prices start at $1.05 million.

Luxury amenities include designer finishes, balconies (with fireplaces), premium Wolf & Subzero appliances, valet parking, concierge services, a fitness center, golf simulator and a full pool and spa. The amenity deck brings grills, cabanas and a putting green, and a dog park and grooming station.

The new tower recently celebrated its topping off at 7901 Windrose Avenue. The first residents will move in this fall.

“This is truly a milestone celebration for all of us involved with Windrose Tower,” Jim Duggan of Windrose Partners says in a statement. “We look forward to delivering an iconic address to our homeowners, with our first residents moving in later this year. Windrose Tower will be the sole residential condominium tower in Legacy West, one of the best master-planned communities in the U.S.

“Our residents will enjoy a curated collection of amenities and a ‘lock and live’ lifestyle in a tower that will forever change the skyline of Plano.”

Look up — and see the future.
