Dallas’ Most Stylish Coffee Shop Rolls Out Ice Cream at Night
Special “Late” Hours and Sweet Instagrams Beckon
By Merrit Stahle //
If there is anything that’s always synonymous with summer, it’s ice cream.
For the first time, ice cream lovers (or those simply looking for a sweet Instagrammable moment) can pop into Weekend Coffee at the Joule Hotel for house-made soft-serve, available exclusively during special night hours: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:30 to 9 pm. (The coffee shop is typically only open from 6:30 am to 6 pm.)
The ice cream menu will rotate between delectable flavors of horchata, strawberry yuzu, peach almond, Mexican chocolate, piña colada, and cookies & cream.
Choose a cup or house-made waffle cone for $3.50, and pile on the toppings as you wish — sprinkles, sugared hazelnuts, brownie bites, cinnamon, and bunuelos. If you need an extra jolt, add a shot of espresso for $6.
Going for a sugar rush? Also try Devil’s Food Cake or German Chocolate Cake ($4.50 a slice). Feeling frisky? Browse the shop’s menu of coffee cocktails infused with liqueur.
