Eatzi’s Expands Again, Challenges Central Market in One of Texas’ Trendiest Neighborhoods: But It May Not Be Where You Hope
By Natalie Gempel //
Eatzi’s Market and Bakery is expanding its empire in Dallas this month with a new location in Preston Royal Village Shopping Center. The beloved takeout emporium and gourmet grocer will open in mid-to-late October. If you’re not yet familiar with the Dallas institution, it offers a wide range of chef-prepared meals, snacks, breads and pastries, sandwiches, salads, sushi, wines, beers – the list goes on.
If you want a home-cooked meal without stepping foot in the kitchen, Eatzi’s is the place to go.
The Preston Royal outpost will be the sixth location overall. (Houstonians are still eagerly awaiting for Eatzi’s to make its teased return there.)
The new Dallas Eatzi’s will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The market will include a grill with hot, ready-to-eat meals, salad and sandwich stations, an artisan bakery, a deli counter and a grab-and-go section. All of the dishes are prepared daily by Eatzi’s team of chefs.
The market will also offer holiday menus and large platters for special occasions.
Eatzi’s will have some tough competition in its new neighborhood – Central Market, another beloved gourmet food shop, is directly across the street.
The exact opening date of Eatzi’s at Preston Royal has yet to be announced, but keep an eye out for its arrival this month.
