New Neapolitan Pizza Restaurant is Giving Out Free Pies in Dallas: Fast-Fine Dining Los Angeles Import Believes in Keeping Prices in Check

Say Ciao to MidiCi. The Neapolitan-style pizzeria is opening its first Dallas location this Thursday, April 12 in Uptown’s West Village. Here’s the best part: To celebrate its grand opening, the restaurant is offering all diners a free Margherita Pizza with no purchase necessary from 11 am to 6 pm on Thursday.

MidiCi, which has locations across the country, serves pizza, salads, Italian specialties, beer, wine and cocktails in an upscale setting. The interior was designed by hotel and restaurant architect and designer Sam Marshall. An indoor tree is the signature piece of decor (and a new restaurant trend around town?).

The popular restaurant invented and trademarked the phrase “fast-fine” dining. It aims to create a topnotch dining atmosphere while maintaining the ease and affordability of more casual concepts. The pizzas range from about $8 to $15, and most appetizers and salads are under $10.

The menu was created by Los Angeles-based restaurateurs Peppe Miele and Mario Vollera. MidiCi offers a variety of signature pies to choose from, like The Margherita, Truffle & Prosciutto, Eggs & Bacon, Hawaiian, and Shrimp Scampi. Diners are also welcome to build personalized pizza around MidiCi’s traditional thin crust.

There are lots of options for those with dietary restrictions; gluten-free crust can be used for any of the pies, and vegan cheese and toppings are available upon request. Plus, the restaurant uses mostly GMO-free ingredients, if you’re into that kind of thing.

The wallet-friendly restaurant opens for lunch and dinner on Thursday at 3699 McKinney Ave Suite 106B.
