We expect the confetti is flying and the champagne corks are popping at Swift + Company with release on Monday of Oprah’s Favorite Things holiday gift guide. Elizabeth Swift Copeland’s must-have White Corn and Truffle Soufflé, one in the trio of her Fab Fête offerings, has made the list of 110 gift items which have been hand selected by the media mogul billionaire.
When one of the richest and most beloved women in the world speaks, everyone listens.
“Is there anything more impressive at a dinner party than a perfectly risen soufflé?,” Oprah notes on OprahDaily.com. “This one, which serves eight and was created by a Texas caterer, takes all the hard work out of the equation, too. Oh, and no surprise here — I’m obsessed with the white corn and truffle flavor.”
The soufflé will also be included in the 25th annual holiday gift feature in the winter issue of O Quarterly and on the media tycoon’s website where the complete list can be found here.
“Being on Oprah’s Favorite Things 2021 list is super exciting and a huge honor. It gives The Fab Fête cachet that will stay with the product and the brand for a long time,” Copeland tells PaperCity. “As far as marketing, sales and PR is concerned, Oprah’s Favorite Things is the gold standard of gift guides.”
In fact, with this endorsement, Copeland says, that for the upcoming holiday season she hopes to triple or even quadruple the soufflé sales numbers from last year’s holiday season.
“We launched The Fab Fête because our soufflés have always been a huge crowd pleaser at our sister company, Swift + Company Catering,” Copeland says, “and we wanted to be able offer the soufflés to friends and family near and far, not just our catering clients.”
In addition to Oprah’s endorsement, this writer gives a serious nod to all three standard soufflé flavors — White Corn and Truffle, Signature Cheese, and Brio Trio — which have been sampled, served at home and on the road. And with the holidays in mind, I recommend the Signature Cheese soufflé with caviar as the combination is like crack for the tastebuds.
Last week, The Fab Fête launched its limited-edition flavor for winter — Fontina and Butternut Squash, this one introduced earlier at a tasting party.
The handmade soufflés are pre-filled in a handsome soufflé dish, frozen, beautifully packaged and available for shipping across the country or across town. They are also available for local pickup. Soufflés begin at $105 and includes complimentary two-day FedEx shipping.
