Texas’ Hottest New Restaurant Mecca Adds Another Trendy Hotspot
Making Healthy Eating Fun

Entering the ever-expanding, fabulous mix of retail and restaurants popping up at Legacy West, True Food Kitchen will open its second Dallas-area restaurant at the complex on Tuesday May 23.
A concept from Fox Restaurant Concepts’ (the creative minds behind newly opened Dallas restaurant Flower Child), True Food will remain true to its health-conscious, seasonally driven menus also available at its Plaza at Preston Center flagship.
The restaurant uses celebrated physician Dr. Andrew Weil’s anti-inflammatory diet combined with nutrient-rich ingredients for fare including spaghetti squash casserole, an inside out quinoa burger, and Scottish steelhead. Catering to every taste, there are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options as well.
With the Plano suburb booming as of late — particularly due to the introduction of the Legacy West complex — it was only natural to open a second spot up north. “A city like Plano — home to active young families and booming businesses alike — was a natural fit for True Food Kitchen, a brand committed to the thriving communities it serves,” says Christine Barone, the restaurant’s CEO.
True Food’s Legacy West locale boasts a large dining room with a natural wood aesthetic and indoor/outdoor garden basins packed with fresh herbs and spices. (In eco-friendly fashion, its dining room chairs are made of recycled soda bottles.) Visit for lunch and dinner seven days a week, plus weekend brunch.
True Food Kitchen, Legacy West, 7601 Windrose Ave.
