PC Moment: The Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation Young Professionals Group’s Jungle Book Gala has become, throughout the course of just the few past years, a favorite on the social calendar, uniting its beloved namesake’s tireless literacy advocacy with young adults looking to mentor elementary students.
Toasting to just its fourth annual celebration, the cocktail kickoff to the group’s annual gala invited gala honorary chair, Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch along with his wife Erin Hinch, to the chic Galleria-area restaurant Yauatcha for light bites, spirits, libations, music and more.
Gala chairs Amy and Kyle McCully and Morgan Stauzenberger and Cameron Stubbs were in tow to present the gala’s honorary chairs and warm up guests for the formal black-tie event.
Save the date: The lively evening complete with drinks, eats, a silent auction, and music from Austin’s Matchmaker Band, takes place Friday, November 9, at The Revaire, one of the city’s newest and most eclectic event spaces.
