What: The Webster + Lane Crawford fete for HOPE Clinic
Where: The Webster at the Galleria
PC Moment: Asia’s iconic luxury department store has joined forces with Miami-based The Webster, which was cause for celebration. And what more appropriate way to party than with a fete to benefit the HOPE Clinic, established by the Asian American Health Coalition to provide health care services for under-served and linguistically isolated Asian communities.
Mandy Kao and Gigi Huang chaired the event that introduced local femmes to the worldwide exclusive collection of 20-plus brands that Lane Crawford is sharing with The Webster through early summer. Think labels including Sonia Rykiel, Paco Rabanne, Proenza Schouler, and Courreges.
While the ladies were in an Asian mood, Yauatcha, The Webster’s wildly popular neighbor, sent over selections of its elegant pastries and tea service.
Something extra: As you look at the photos of these fashionistas, check out the array of designer handbags that the ladies are carrying. How do you spell Chanel, Hermes and Prada?
Who: The Webster’s Constance Bost, HOPE Clinic CEO Dr. Andrea Caracostis, Yauatcha’s executive pastry chef Juan Pablo Colubri, Tracey Faulkner, Diana Sun, Mandy Kao, Marie Bosarge, Anna Arispe, Brigitte Kalai, Ruchi Mukherjee, Betty Gee, Pierre Alexandre, and Tammy Su.
