What: AWARE Affair: Celebrate the Moments
Where: Hilton Anatole, Stemmons Ballroom
PC Moment: The Stemmons Ballroom at the Hilton Anatole was the perfect ambiance for AWARE Affair‘s extravagant annual gala, complete with music from the Georgia Bridgwater Orchestra. Guests arrived in cocktail attire to sip drinks and raise paddles at the silent auction. The night continued with a three-course meal, live auction, and a chance for guests to show their moves with ballroom dancing.
While guests danced the night away, the passionate organization reminded them of the true meaning of the gala: to honor Pam and Dan Busbee, Myrna and Bob Schlegel, and the Myrna D. Schlegel/AWARE Scholarship Fund for their dedication to fighting Alzheimer’s disease. AWARE has raised more than $12,500,000 since 1989. We’ll toast to that!
On the dance floor: event chairs Angela and Andre Szuwalski, Penny Reid, Thomas Nolan; AWARE president Venise Stuart.
