Spring officially buds its head on March 20, 2016 — according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac — aligning perfectly with one of the most flourishing fêtes of the season. Chair Barbara Daseke and honorary chair Linda Ivy invite you to join them on Monday, March 21, 2016, for Art in Bloom International, benefitting the Dallas Museum of Art. The annual floral symposium raises funds for the museum’s exhibition and education programs, as well as the DMA League’s Floral Endowment Fund, and is always a colorful success.

Landscape architect/historian Todd Longstaffe-Gowan will serve as this year’s keynote speaker and will also be judging the inaugural table-design competition. Another noteworthy name to keep in your pocket is Olivier Meslay, the DMA associate director of curatorial affairs, who will serve as the 2016 honoree. A word to the wise — hurry and get your tickets now, as this event is guaranteed to be a bloomin’ good time. Tickets $175; sponsorships from $750; for more information, call 214.922.1200.
