A Breast Cancer Mission
Komen Houston’s 25th Anniversary Gala Will Paint the Night Pink
By Sharon L. Taylor //
For 25 years, Susan G. Komen Houston has funded breast cancer research and community health programs for under- and uninsured residents of Houston. Toast the anniversary — and support the cause — at Paint the Night Pink – A 25th Anniversary Silver Celebration. Jane Parker and Judy Smith chair the festivities, along with co-chairs Trish and Andrew Hayes, Tricia and Panos Georgiou, and Jane and Stephen Marmion.
This industrious team has crafted an evening of dining, live entertainment, dancing, covetable big board auction lots and special tributes to individuals and groups dedicated to Komen Houston. The gala will also honor Lester and Sue Smith (the single largest donors to cancer research and patient care in Houston) and recognize Komen Houston’s original grantees: Baylor College of Medicine, MD Anderson Cancer Center and The Rose.
