Bush Sisters Stand Up for Women in Dallas
Whirlwind Book Tour Cannot Slow Them Down

PC Moment: On the heels of a whirlwind tour promoting their new book, Sisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life, Dallas natives Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush breezed into town to serve as keynote speakers for the third annual 4Word gala.
The evening raised an impressive $305,000 for 4Word, a faith-based company that strives to narrow the gap in resources facing women who are passionate about their careers and relationships, through mentor programs and supportive online communities.
Laura Bush’s former chief of staff Charity Wallace also spoke to the crowd, as did Liz Forkin Bohanno, founder of Africa-based footwear and accessories company Sseko, which employs women in Uganda and across the globe so they can earn a steady income and pursue higher education.
