Where: The Junior League of Houston
PC Moment: The city-operated animal shelter enjoyed resounding support from 200 fans of four-legged critters during the evening that earned $210,000 for BARC. Mayor Sylvester Turner joined the party as honorary chair and declared it Carolyn Faulk Day in Houston, in praise of the honoree. Special guest was Little Orphan Annie, a BARC rescue puppy up for auction.
