PC Moment: Groundbreaking cinematographer/screenwriter Samuel W. Reed, producer of CinemAbility: The Art of Inclusion, discussed his insights on the depiction of the disabled in the media. Thanks to a matching gift of $100,000, the dinner event raised more than $220,000 for the nonprofit that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Vita Living operates 19 group homes in the Houston area with capacity for 78 residents while the Vita Living Center provides day programs for residents.
