The Ultimate Heartwarming Night’s Driven By Celebrity Chefs
By Mary Spencer //
What: 2018 Côtes du Coeur
Where: Omni Dallas Hotel
PC Moment: Records were broken this year at the immensely successful, sold-out Côtes du Coeur event in Dallas. And then some. The festivities raised a whopping $4.7 million: $860,000 from the auctions, $2.8 million from sponsorships and an Open Your Heart Campaign that garnered $1.1 million
The black-tie evening of wining and dining attracted an enviable group of fine wine connoisseurs, celebrity chefs and Dallas foodies. The gala is the largest fundraising event for the American Heart Association in the nation, with all of proceeds going to heart-health research and educational programming.
Dressed to the nines and enjoying decadent dishes by renowned chefs like Richard Chamberlain, Kent Rathbun, Dean Fearing and many others, attendees enjoyed a live auction as well as a silent auction of more than 2,000 wines.
Now, that’s a heartwarming night.
