Dallas’ Most Stylish Women Paint the Town Blue for a Heartbreaking Cause
Ending Abuse Takes a Village
By Natalie Gempel //
What: Paint The Town Blue with Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center
Where: MiniLuxe Highland Park
PC Moment: Blue was the manicure of the moment last week. From pale pastel to deep navy, MiniLuxe Highland Park brought out polish in every shade of the hue to raise awareness for an important cause. The salon partnered with Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center to kickoff National Child Abuse Prevention Month this April (the signature cause color is, of course, blue) with a fun and informative event. The event included complimentary manis, bites, sips and tunes.
Dallas women grazed the (all blue!) candy bar and got polished up to show their support for the DCAC, a non-profit with a mission to improve the lives of abused children in the Dallas area, and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues.
Who: Britt Sogard, Kimber Westphall, Daniela Bell, Gabriela Dalfen, Kara Sewell, Vanessa Abuchaibe, Sarah Burns, Susan Kamyab, Shannon Powell Hart, Erica Denton. Sonya Naderi and others.
