Pretty Young Things and Power Players Drawn to Dallas’ Own Cinderella Party
New Jewelry Brings It All Together

David Yurman has stepped into a more modern light. His recently debuted Continuance Collection — the cause célèbre for a party hosted by PaperCity at the NorthPark Center David Yurman boutique Wednesday night — is a testament to that.
The sleek, sculptural collection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings, in silver, yellow, white, and rose gold is inspired by the notion of the double helix — a nod to the bonds that intertwine people together. There could be few more apropos collections to inspire a party that brought together all the past and present presidents of The Salvation Army’s Echelon organization for a bash benefitting The Salvation Army filled with pretty young things, many of whom wore plenty of their own David Yurman baubles for the occasion.
As for the hosts, Elizabeth Phillips, Michelle McAdam, Lauren Toledo and yours truly were styled head-to-toe in Continuance. Perfect for layering, Phillips wore a stunning array of silver Chain necklaces paired with an eye-catching rose quartz ring, while I sported a shorter Chain in rose gold and a statement-making Bold linked bracelet in 18K yellow gold. We all envied McAdam’s radiant gold and diamond ring, an optical allusion that appeared to be several rings stacked atop each other.
Alas, after each guest finished their last sip of champagne, we sadly dismantled our jewels, placing them back in their glassy display-case homes. It was our own Cinderella moment to be sure.
