This Shootout Concert Bonanza Makes Fundraising Action Packed

What: Elizabeth Toon Charities’ 10th annual fund-raiser
Where: Gilley’s Dallas
PC Moment: Elizabeth Toon Charities‘ annual concert and shootout was a two-day jam-packed event celebrating 10 years of service contributed to North Texas by ETC, which has raised more than $4 million and benefitted 65 local charities since its inception. More than 1,000 people gathered at Gilley’s Dallas to enjoy a concert by Texas country artists Jack Ingram and Wade Bowen. The event’s live auction raised more than $125,000 with top selling items including a day of shooting and instruction with Green Beret John Wayne Walding, and a dinner for 10 at the home of Tracy and Kent Rathbun.
The shootout had 500 participants, with the Nancy B. Chappelear-Weldon Foundation beating out 87 other teams for first place. All proceeds from both events were donated to ETC and will benefit 16 children’s charities in North Texas.
