Renowned interior designer Jan Showers invited guests to her showroom, on October 1 for a preview of the new Jan Showers luxury rug collection for Moattar. As guests sipped on martinis, Moattar brand representatives Andrea Moattar, Jason Moattar and Matt Fleming presented the exquisite new collection alongside Showers herself. On October 2, Harwood International welcomed guests to “An Evening in the Clouds” to commemorate breaking ground at Bleu Ciel — the company’s latest venture in upscale sky-rise living. Models donning blue wigs greeted guest to the celebratory soirée… Also taking place that evening was the grand opening of the chic new watering hole, Midnight Rambler. Socials swarmed to the underground hotspot beneath The Joule Hotel to raise a (craft) cocktail to owners Chad Solomon and Christy Pope. The following evening DIFFAs’ Burgers & Burgundy took place at the home of Bill and Karen Seanor. Co-host and chef extraordinaire John Tesar, alongside nine other culinary stars flipped burgers while guests sipped on burgundy. On October 5, Barbara Hines welcomed over 450 art enthusiasts to the preview reception of “Mysteries, Signs and Wonders” her latest collection of paintings and works on paper at The Museum of Biblical Art.
