Enjoy an al fresco afternoon of fun and games at Families on the Green, presented by Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. Discovery Green previews some of its most popular programming at this biennial benefit, which helps fund more than 600 free events at the park each year. Highlights of the day include face painting, arts and crafts, inflatables, carnival rides, balloonists, magicians, jugglers, a rock wall, sweet treats, even a flea market, mechanical bull, and circus demonstration and classes. And, talk about a family affair: The fête, which was rescheduled from April, is chaired by the Dorros family (Carolyn and Chris, Eliza and Sam), the Gilbane family (Eleanor and Dan, Danny, Beatrice and Mary Oliver), and the Sudduth family (Julie and Drew, Mary Caroline, Jack, Phillip and Emma). PaperCity serves as media sponsor.
