Where: The Tanglewood home of Amy and Mark Hammer
PC Moment: Singers/songwriters Danny Myrick, Megan Linville, Aaron Benward and David Lee entertained guests at the second annual “Songs for the Heart” event for the non-profit that raises funds to assist in providing life-saving heart surgery for children from around the world. They shared sometimes humorous, always insightful back stories on several of country music’s biggest hits. The light-hearted evening took on a more serious tone when Dr. John Breinholt, chief of pediatric cardiology at Childrens’ Memorial Hermann Hospital, praised HeartGift for its noble mission.
