Festivities will be in full bloom as the Texas Discovery Gardens hosts the 2015 Flora Award gala. Event chairs Claudia Williams, Holly Lawrence and Allison McAfee invite guests to join them on Thursday, November 5, for a luminous evening honoring Denise and Ray Nixon. The Flora Award is bestowed upon people who have made an incredible impact on the community through service, education and the advancement of the environment and quality of life.
For more than 30 years, this prestigious award has been revered as one of Dallas’ top honors, so it is with great pride that the TDG elects the Nixons as this year’s recipients.
