Heart of Fashion takes flight this month at the Million Air Hangar — 99,000 square feet that Todd Events will transform into a runway Mecca inspired by Paris and Rome, circa the ’60s. The three-night event features 80 models in 11 designer collections, including Ungaro, Eleventy, Angel Sanchez, Norisol Ferrari, Cushnie et Ochs, Abi Ferrin, Peter Cohen, La Isla and Paola Contreras; participating retailers include Tootsies, Sloan/Hall, Elizabeth Anthony, Stag Provisions, M. Penner, Valobra and Neiman Marcus. Proceeds will benefit three charities: Legacy Community Health Services, Meals on Wheels and Butterflys & Bandages.
Among the light bites from A Fare Extraordinaire, libations and energizing DJ sets, Ralph Rucci will present the first-ever Texas Legacy Award to Carmen dell’Orefice. Guests will cap off each night’s runway extravaganza with an unforgettable after-party. The dress code is fashionably chic at this high-flying event.
