High Tea at a Former NBA Star’s Swank Manse Creates Quite the Scene

Where: In the swank MIssouri City home of Candace and TJ Ford, retired NBA star
PC Moment: It was quite the fashionable day with the ladies decked out in their finest tea time frocks and chapeaus and with Saks Fifth Avenue presenting a show of spring and summer styles around the swimming pool. The sprinkling of gents did their part to uphold the fashion bar. Headlining the day were Ready Women Inc. founder and CEO Jacqueline Kinloch and Phyllis Williams, who co-chaired the event, and Saks Fifth Avenue’s Albert Rubio, manager of the Fifth Avenue Club at Saks. Champagne flowed, tea sandwiches and sweets were served compliments of chef Melanie Allen.
