Where: The Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University
PC Moment: The night, chaired by mayoral daughter Ashley Turner and city council contender Bill Baldwin, presented a colorful cornucopia of the performing and visual arts in an evening benefiting the Community Artists’ Collective. Entertainment included jazz performances, comedians, poetry, art exhibitions and more.
Taking bows were honorary chair Mayor Sylvester Turner, Artist-in-Action Ann Johnson, Patrons of the Year Winell Herron and Lester Marks, and Service Award recipient Beverly P. Harmon.
