PC Moment: Twenty gents from the city’s energy industry took the bold step of signing up for the September 20 inaugural Knock Out Child Abuse professional boxing match, with proceeds going to  the Children’s Assessment Center. Before these guys put on the gloves in the ring at the new swank  Revaire, they will go through extensive training with former heavyweight boxing champ Lou Savarese.

B&B Butcher’s owner Benjamin Berg and Savarese hosted the kickoff night of cocktails and those tasty appetizers from the restaurant kitchen and are the forces behind the fundraiser.

Ursaline Hamilton and Jordan Seff chair the evening event that will see the men contend in 10 three-round fights and battle to see who can raise the most funds for CAC before the start  bell sounds. Guests reserving ringside top tickets will have ringside seats where B&B Butchers & Restaurant will provide a four-course dinner.

Who: CAC executive director Elaine Stolte, Brent Pickett, Kathy Wells, Kerry McCracken, Benita and Chris Land, Melissa and Chip Bryant, Courtney and Eric Dixon, Angela Gomez, Ronnie Van Woesik, Dylan Seff, Amber Waska, Janice Colburn, David Wilhite and Meredith Marshall.
