What: 30th birthday for New 93Q’s Al Farb
Where: Rich’s Houston
PC Moment: What would a birthday bash at a swinging gay nightclub be without an all-star drag queen salute? That was the high entertainment, headlined by local legend Kara Dion (Miss Gay Texas America 2012), that kept this party going until closing time. Fueled by an open bar and catering from Phoenicia Specialty Foods, the party featured a “Toast & Roast” of the birthday boy, who produces the 93Q’s wildly popular Morning Zoo program. In addition to the honored guest, headliners included the talented Michael Chiavone, The Eagle’s Maureen Cooper and PBS television personality Ernie Manouse. And what would a birthday bash be without a cake and toasts to the fresh 30-year-old!
Who: Walt Zippian, Ty Frazier, Glenda Farb, Janet Farb, James Farb, Sissy Siero, Traci Campbell, Shaune and Zie Zie Greenwood, Lara Bell and Brent Milam, Amy and Anthony Castillo, Johnny Chiang, Cherolyn Johnson, Jana and Richard Fant, Max Velasquez, and the chicest DJ in town Bradley David Janacek.
