What: Memorial Park Conservancy‘s Urban Wild “Bridge Bash”

Where: Atop the Living Bridge at Memorial Park

PC Moment: The third annual al fresco evening on the bridge crossing Memorial Drive drew a crowd of 150 dedicated to making the most of this night on high. DJ Fredster provided the sound track for the partying while Dish Society passed appetizers. A Smilebooth and door prizes added to the young-at-heart-fun.

Urban Wild is the young professional affinity group of the Memorial Park Conservancy. In addition to supporting the park efforts, the group provides fun-filled opportunities for mixing it up with YPs from a variety of fields. The benefits of membership include the annual Bridge Bash, happy hours and a customized day of service volunteer opportunity.

The Conservancy was founded in 2000 for the purpose of creating, managing and providing stewardship for a world-class park in partnership with the Houston community.
