What: Houston Symphony’s Young Associates Council Annual Holiday Party
Where: The Great Expectations Ballroom at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City
PC Moment: The spanking new hotel hosted the festive gathering that hit a holiday high note with a performance by the Houston Symphony Brass Quintet. Setting a jolly theme to the gathering were Santa and one of his merry elves.
Hotel ZaZa pulled out the stops for the youthful guests with a vast buffet spread that included a carving station and a mac and cheese station and an open bar that featured the ZaZa Bubble Berry signature cocktail. The party was made possible thanks to Young Associates Council members Stacy and Jason Johnson, MetroNational president. Representing symphony leadership were interim executive director and Young Associates Council member Amanda T. Dinitz and her husband, Adam Dinitz, who plays English horn and oboe for the symphony.
In a fundraising effort for the YAC, the hotel raffled a gift certificate for a complimentary overnight in a Magnificent Seven suite that included dinner for two and a spa treatment for two.
Who: Young Associates Council co-chairs Alexandra Gottschalk and Ishwaria Subbiah, who were accompanied by their husbands Daniel Gottschalk and Vivek Subbiah; plus Ann and Jonathan Ayre, Nina Delano and Wirt Blaffer, Carrie Brandsberg-Dahl, Darrin Davis and Mario Gudmundsson, Valerie and Tracey Dieterich, Christine Falgout, Brian McCullouch and Jeremy Garcia, Jovon and Justin Tyler and Jennifer Gravenor.
