Houston Young Professionals Move the Party Indoors in Wild Bridge Bash
By Shelby Hodge //
What: Memorial Park Conservancy‘s Urban Wild Bridge Bash
Where: The Roy H. Cullen Running Trails Center at Memorial Park
PC Moment: Mother Nature tricked up party planners by threatening rain thus forcing the young professionals’ Urban Wild fundraiser indoors. So the fourth annual bridge bash, typically held on the living bridge crossing over Memorial Drive, took place in the center rather than under the stars. The change of plans, however, failed to dampen the spirits of the young professionals, numbering close to 2o0.
They schmoozed to the soundtrack of DJ John Tran, snacked on appetizers from Cordua Catering and posed for photos from Smilebooth Texas. Door prizes added extra energy to the night.
The Party Committee: Alexis Caruselle, Jeffrey Yates, Jean Beagle, Tammy and James Beeson, Blair Chesnut, Caroline Dawson, Elizabeth Edgeworth, Elizabeth Gregory, Zenab Haq, Kathleen Hotze, Megan and Luke Hotze, Deja Land and Josh Ibarra, George Johnston, Ashley Olmsted, Robert Street, and Lee Younger.
