Indoor Cycling Bonanza Gives Women Access to Quality Breast Health Care
By Jailyn Marcel //
Cycle for a cause this Saturday, October 22 at River Oaks Shopping Center boutique cycling studio Ryde. This year’s event marks the second installment of Ryde for a Reason, which allows patrons to ride in support of The Rose — a foundation which helps women gain access to quality breast health care.
The indoor cycling event features five classes at 8:30 am, 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:45 am, and 12:45 pm. Just choose your time slot, then pick a sponsorship level — prices range from $20 to $150. Ryde kicks off the charity ride with a special in-studio cocktail and silent auction event on Thursday, October 20 at 7 pm. Tickets to tonight’s soiree ($40 in advance, $50 at the door) can be purchased here.
The Rose, which caters to both uninsured and insured patients, currently operates two facilities and four mobile units. The organization has been rated one of the top breast cancer non-profits in the nation.
