PC Moment: Renowned designer jewelry retailer Ylang 23 hosted a cocktail and shopping soirée for Yoshinobu Kataoka‘s first U.S. appearance. Ylang 23 is one of the few exclusive retailers that carry Kataoka’s jewelry. The venue for cocktails, the Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, is home to The Samurai Collection, one of the largest and most complete collections of Samurai objects in the world outside of Japan. Afterwards, Joanne and Charles Teichman hosted a Japanese tasting menu dinner in honor of Kataoka at Uchi.
