Unique Music Store Opens in Houston and Throws Quite the Party for its U.S. Debut

Where: Kawai Piano Gallery on Richmond
PC Moment: Musicians, music aficionados and music students were among those checking out Kawai’s first retail location in the United States. Guests were treated to guided tours of the 14,000 square foot facility which includes a 200-seat concert hall, the Kawai Music School, and the Shigeru Room. There were performances by local artists including Kenné Smith, Akira Kaku, Yan Shen, Alina Uddin, Gary Norian, René Casarsa, and by talented pianists from Houston Young Artists’ Concert. Guests were able to witness the artistry and technology that has made Kawai Piano one of the leading providers of musical instruments in the world.
