Posh Patio Party at Tootsies Tackles a Misunderstood Disease

Who: Hosts Joanie Jacomini Herring, Beverly Jacomini, Tiffany Masterson, and Libby Watts; Founder Cindy Garbs of Divine Design Houston and Tootsies owner Mickey Rosmarin; Armando and Cinda Palacios; Robin Simon, Sharon Worley, and Marsha Tucker.
PC Moment: Watts introduced Lafayette Herring, who had battled with Lyme disease, and Houston Wellness Center doctor George Allibone. Herring shared an emotional testimony about his experience, and Dr. Allibone spoke to the curious crowd about the disease. Armandos supplied hungry party-goers with chilled margaritas and scrumptious bites, and DJ Senega spun energetic tunes as models sported seasonal looks from Tootsies. The fête featured Drunk Elephant Skincare, and a portion of the proceeds benefited Texas Lyme Disease Association.
