What: M1 Ball
Where: Eddie Deen’s Ranch, 944 S. Lamar Street Dallas
PC Moment: With a festive “American Cowboy” theme that celebrated the history, heritage, and humanity of the storied Wild West, the annual M1 Ball featured a night chock full of good ole country fun.
Guests arrived at the rustic compound donning their best cowboy chic attire, with VIPs gathering at a 6 pm reception prior to cocktails (many splashed with Roxor gin) and a silent auction.
The main event kicked off at 7:45 pm with a seated dinner; among the tasty fare: Babe’s, Bubba’s, and Sweetie Pie’s Ribeyes. Post-dinner and live auction, country singer and native Texan Aaron Watson (who boasts a dozen albums including his newest, Vaquero) took to the stage for an electrifying performance that eventually prompted everyone to kick their heels up and dance.
Proceeds from the evening benefitted Mercury One, a humanitarian aid and education foundation that restores the human spirit through various initiatives, including The Nazarene Fund (assistance for persecuted religious minorities), disaster relief, veteran suicide prevention, and more.
Gone Country: Founders and ball chairs Tania and Glenn Beck, honorary chairs Gina and Ken Betts; honorary chairs emeritus Gena and Chuck Norris, Paul and Charla Vinyard, and Joel and Annalee Vinyard; Mercury One executive director Suzanne Grishman and Michael Grishman, emcee Jane McGarry, Jeffy Fisher, Pat Gray, Beth Knott, Brad Staggs, Raema and Jordan Mauriello, Travis and Dawn Simpson, and Jacqueline and Michael Failor.
