Margaritas Under the Mistletoe Brings a Hot Crowd to a Houston Favorite

Because Legacy Community Health‘s annual “Holiday Schmooze” fundraiser was put on ice this year, supporters simply could not let the season pass without raising their glasses in good cheer to the respected nonprofit. So it was that “Margaritas Under the Mistletoe” was born and Armandos bar served as schmooze central.

Thank Libby Cagle, Michael Mandola, Lucas Somoza and Lauren Taft for pulling together the joyful fundraiser during which guests bellied up to the cash bar after making donations that were earmarked for Legacy Behavioral Health Programs.

Legacy executive director Katy Caldwell and chief development officer Chree Boydstun thanked guests for their continuing support. While the gathering was scheduled for two hours, the partying went on long after the end time, such is the nature of Legacy’s diehard supporters.

It was a good night for Armandos as well. The restaurant was packed and while those in the bar crush noshed on yummy quesadillas, empanadas and shrimp skewers, several ordered dinner including those at primo corner table — including Patsy Fourticq, Tye Taft and Beverly Jacomini.
