What: Bo’s Place “Hearts of Hope” Luncheon

PC Moment: Former Denver Bronco quarterback Brian Griese and his wife, Dr. Brook Griese, spoke on Judi’s House which is a Denver-based bereavement center much like Bo’s Place. The non-profit is named in honor of Brian Griese’s mother, who died when he was only 12 years old. They spoke on the importance of grief support programs and their belief that in supporting Bo’s Place individuals make an investment in a grieving child’s future.

Chaired by Eloise Novotny and Lauren Hammer, more than 500 attended the event that raised more than $330,000. The luncheon recognized Rahul Mehta with the Robin Bush Award, given to those who make a marked difference in the lives of children. In addition to his professional success in software, Mehta has served on the boards of DePelchin Children’s Center, Ronald McDonald House, Bo’s Place, Krist Samaritan Counseling Center and Methodist Hospital.
