What: Preview party celebrating “Night Fever: Fashions from Funk to Disco”
Where: Galleria Dallas
PC Moment: The night before this funky exhibition opened to the public, more than 300 fans of vintage fashion arrived eager for a sneak peek at the iconic collections from the 1970s.
The Galleria Dallas showcased more than 75 accessories and garments representing the transition from funk to disco, curated by the Galleria’s director of marketing, Martha Hinojosa, and Vintage Martini’s Ken Weber.
Many partygoers showed up decked out in their ’70s-inspired costumes and danced the night away to popular 1970s songs. Attendees also enjoyed Prosecco, white wine, and Schlitz — a classic ’70s beer.
The exhibit remains open until Wednesday, November 1. Admission is free and open to all ages.
Who: Martha Hinojosa, Ken Weber, Holly Quartaro, Jan Strimple, Rhonda Sargeant Chambers, Heidi Dillon, Chuck Steelman, Ese Azenabor, Greg Kelly, and Dan Pritchett.
