What: Houston Sweethearts’ Valentine’s Day Celebration
Where: Saks Fifth Avenue, first floor
PC Moment: For Warner Roberts‘ seventh annual Sweethearts fệte, the class of 2017 took on a different look. For the first time, a gentleman joined the ranks of the honored femmes. Applause, applause for Saks GM Bobby Dees who was the surprise darling among his fellow honorees — Paige Kinkaid, Joanne King Herring, Nidhika Mehta, Alice Mosing and Sybil Roos.
Of the 125 guests dropping in for tea and fundraising for the Mission of Yahweh homeless shelter for women and children, more than a few stepped out in Valentine’s red. It was a colorful tableau where special guest Eric Buterbaugh with EB Floral signed bottles of his flower-infused fragrances. Joining Roberts as hosts were Ann Carl, Deborah Duncan, Sylvia Forsythe, Kim Moody and Alicia Smith.
Who: Nancy Dinerstein, Ericka Bagwell, Ursaline Hamilton, Vicki Rizzo, Beth Wolff, Leila Gilbert, Kathi Rovere, Angie Roberts, Betty Hrncir, Diane Lokey Farb, Mehrnaz Gill, Lara Bell, Samantha Kennedy, Charity Yarborough, and Kim Padgett.
