Prohibition Supperclub & Bar Stages Murder Mystery Set in Houston

If you’ve ever wanted to travel back in time, now’s your chance. Prohibition Supperclub & Bar presents “Magnolia City” — a murder mystery set in 1926 Houston. The show takes place at the Golden Key Speakeasy, where the audience will meet notable Houstonians of the era, including industrialist John Kirby, distillery tycoon Charles Romano, media bigwig William P. Hobby, billionaire Howard Hughes and casino proprietor Jackie Freedman. Watch out for other celebrities including Coco Chanel, radio personality Sophie Tucker, actress Mae West and singer Annette Hanshaw. Prohibition’s Moonlight Dolls will also grace the stage performing a number of musical performances.
