PC Moment: Before a packed room of more than 420, Neil Bush accepted honors on behalf of his parents, Barbara and George H.W. Bush, who were saluted at the fundraiser for their decades of service to the city, the country, and the Salvation Army. Celebrated Clemson University football coach Tommy Bowden (retired) gave the keynote address, stressing the importance of family. The event, hosted by the Salvation Army of Greater Houston advisory board members, brought in $463,000 for the Army’s mission of “Doing the most good.”
