What: Jimmy Choo Pop-Up Shop
Where: Kelli Weinzerl‘s swankienda in Memorial
PC Moment: More than 100 pairs of the designer’s shoes and handbags were scattered throughout the first floor of the expansive home (previously owned by Baseball Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell), tempting supporters of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The Jimmy Choo boutique in the Galleria was closed for the day so that merchandise and sales staff could sponsor the party, a percentage of proceeds from which benefit the museum.
The champagne flowed and hors d’oeuvres were passed as the ladies swooned over the glam selection. “We’ve been shopping up a storm,” Weinzerl said. “And now by whole garage is a store room.” She and Shawn Stephens chair the HMNS gala set for March 4 at the museum.
Who: Museum president Joel Bartsch, director of individual giving Sveta Darnell, Barbara Hawthorn, Stephanie Cockrell, Jane DiPaolo, Ann Scholtes, Allison Hickey, Ann Singleton, Courtney Robertson, Hilary Lipsey, and Jimmy Choo boutique manager Nicole Rose.
