What: Houston Tennis Association sixth annual “Game, Set, Match Gala”
Where: Royal Sonesta Hotel
PC Moment: U.S. Tennis Association president and CEO Katrina Adams jetted in from home base in New York, where she directs the Harlem Junior Tennis Education Program, to share her story of playing in the National Junior Tennis and Learning program in Chicago and how that changed her life and allowed her to go to college and play on the women’s tour. The event raised $120,000 for the National Junior Tennis and Learning program, which provides free year-round tennis lessons and educational classes to more than 6,000 children.
