The fifth anniversary of Come to the Table, chaired this year by Nancy and David Randall, begins with alfresco cocktails at The Beacon Day Center, then segues into a four-course dinner prepared by some of Houston’s most acclaimed chefs in the beneficiary’s own kitchen facilities, complete with wine pairings. Participating are: Randy Evans, director/executive chef for H-E-B Restaurants; Efisio Farris (Arcodoro), Philippe Gaston (Izakaya), Mark Holley (Holley’s Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar), Manabu “Hori” Horiuchi (Kata Robata), Hugo Ortega and Ruben Ortega (Hugo’s, Backstreet Cafe, Caracol), Mike Puccio (The Beacon), Fernando Rios (Weights and Measures), John Sheely (Mockingbird Bistro) and Claire Smith (Canopy, Shade, Woodbar).
