What: Dallas natives, siblings, and co-founders of Leatherology, Rae Liu and David Liu welcomed guests to celebrate the luxury accessories brand’s first brick-and-mortar pop-up, now open in NorthPark Center through February 2022. Known for a highly personalized touch, the gift-worthy brand and its on-site debossed monogramming services will be there for customers through the holidays.
Where: Petra & the Beast
The Scene: A well-heeled crowd of artists, entrepreneurs, designers, and philanthropists gathered in the intimate, unassuming East Dallas spot housing one of the city’s most talked-about restaurants, Petra & the Beast. The reason for celebration: the launch of popular accessories brand Leatherology’s first retail pop-up. Custom cocktails, wine pairings from organic liquor store Bar & Garden, and a beautifully tailored menu of charcuterie, crispy maitake mushrooms, and 44 Farms beef shank from Petra chef/owner Misti Norris fueled two long tables lined with dinner guests. An on-site monogrammer whipped up party favors for each attendee before dessert arrived.
Leatherology’s streamlined collection of sought-after minimalist accessories were a perfect aesthetic match with the offerings and atmosphere at Petra — unfussy but with beautiful attention to detail.
The Seen: Notable guests at the dinner table included Zoe Bonette, Gonzalo Bueno, Jamie Coulter, Lynsey Eaton, Shelby Goff, Christina Jafar, Meredith Land, Lindsey McClain, Jessica Watts, Missy Rogers Peck, Suzanne Droese, Courtney Kerr, Lele Sadoughi, Stephanie Seay, Kyle Noonan, Tory Bradburry, Bela Cooley, Carlos Alonso-Parada, and Brian Bolke to name a few.
