PC Moment: A cadre of young professionals took over a party room in the Museum District hotel for after-office networking, corn hole competition and happy hour drink specials. The social geared to spurring interest in the non-profit that is dedicated to improving the lives of Houston’s underprivileged and disabled children. Spelling out the HCC mission was Young Houstonians for HCC founding chair Rachael Gordon.
Highlight of the gathering was the awarding of raffle items that included a one night stay-cation at Hotel Zaza. That sweet deal included spa treatments and dinner for two at Monarch. In addition to Hotel Zaza, making it all happen was Texas Mattress Makers, participant in HCC’s “A Better Night’s Sleep” program which is in high gear following Hurricane Harvey. The firm and the non-profit are working together to provide beds and linens for displaced children when they return to their homes.
