What: Rienzi Spring Party
Where: The Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s house museum for European decorative arts, Rienzi
PC Moment: Could there be a lovelier setting for a poolside soirèe than that of this stunning River Oaks estate, home of the late Carroll and Harry Masterson? On this evening, the tableau was camera ready with flower-decked tables lining the verdant garden overlooking the pool. Events in Bloom provided the spring flowers (peonies and tulips) while Swift + Company delivered the bountiful buffet.
Theme of the evening, chaired by Susan and William Finnegan, was “Springtime in New York,” a nod to Rienzi’s current exhibition, “Broadway’s Amazing Mastersons.” The throng of close to 250 toured the galleries, viewed the exhibition and sipped seasonal cocktails around the pool.
PC Seen: Isla and Tommy Reckling, Hiram Butler, Christiana and Luke McConn, Cliffe Reckling, Courtnay and Mark Elias, Rosslyn and Marshall Crawford, Kelli Bunch and Sterling Reckling, Tricia and Ed Britt, Molly and Ken Delery, Carroll Goodman, Coleen and Dallam Masterson, and Elise and James Reckling.
