What: Young Texans Against Cancer’s 11th annual BubblyQ
Where: The swanky patio outside Fearing’s at The Ritz-Carlton
PC Moment: Sip, sip, hooray! Cheers are in order for the Young Texans Against Cancer and the success of its largest annual fundraising event, BubblyQ. As part of its #DecadeInDallas campaign, Young Texans Against Cancer celebrated the local cancer community with food, drinks, music and a live auction.
Bartender Eddie “Lucky” Campbell kept the bubbly flowing as attendees enjoyed the live band and sampled dishes prepared by some of the city’s best chefs. Top Dallas restaurants — including Nobu, Parigi, Up on Knox, and, of course, Fearing’s — set up chef and dessert stations offering an array of foods. The vivacious crowd left the soiree stuffed on gyros, gourmet cheeses and cotton candy affogatos.
The silent auction featured a variety of items including beach vacations, an African safari, flight vouchers, diamond jewelry, and tickets to Dallas’s most sought-after sports games.
Since 2008, YTAC has donated more than $1 million in support of the fight against cancer. The young professional organization’s decade-long support of the battle against cancer is an effort worthy of toasting to any day.
PC Seen: Co-chairs Vodi Cook and Heather Winn; chef chair Dean Fearing; Bela Cooley; Morgan and Andrew Pieper; Shan Zaidi; Hillery Stack; Lisa and Andrew Shaddock; and Lacey Brutschy.
