Zac Posen Steps Up for Dallas’ 10 Best Dressed Women
Who’s Making the Coveted List?
By Jane Rozelle //
Dallas is celebrating the news that design darling Zac Posen will be swooping into town on Friday, September 15, at Neiman Marcus’ flagship store where he will be the featured designer at The Crystal Charity Ball’s Ten Best Dressed Women of Dallas Fashion Show and Luncheon.
The beloved Posen is no stranger to the women of Dallas. The notable Project Runway judge is often spotted out and about town, whether he’s dining at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, where he serves as an official “curator” for the esteemed hotel, or being honored at Dallas’ own Fashion Group International Night of Stars Gala, where he took home the Career Achievement Award in 2014. It’s safe to say he has a place in our hearts, and we have a feeling that we have a place in his.
The New York based designer will give a presentation featuring his 2017 resort collection in this latest visit. What to expect? A new approach to his signature silhouettes, navy blue hues and colorful pops of red, structured lines, and, of course, impeccable attention to detail.
The venerable Posen will receive the highest honor at the most anticipated fête of the year: Dressing the Best Dressed. But who, pray tell, will he be dressing?
On Wednesday, April 12, the grand reveal of the honorees will take place in the Neiman Marcus Couture Salon. Per tradition, Neiman Marcus Group CEO and president Karen Katz, vice president and general manager for the downtown store Jeff Byron, the Crystal Charity Ball’s 2017 chair Pam Perella, and Ten Best Dressed Fashion Show and Luncheon chair Christi Urschel will all be on the scene, cheering on the lauded group of ladies.
